The international Association of Exhibitions and Events feels that there will be a growth pattern of 2.9 percent in 2012 and 3 percent in 2013, but your business will not be able to enjoy this growth without proper hop up displays. By using hop up displays, your business can make a splash at any trade show including the Consumer Electronics Expo which is the worlds largest and hosted 2,500 exhibitors and 120,000 attendees in Las Vegas in 2011 alone. The point is that when you do expos that large, you will need things like hop up displays and table throws in order to be seen amongst the masses.
About 75 percent of people who attend trade shows already have a plotted course for the exhibitors that they will visit before they get inside the venue and this means that you will need hop up displays and other means of visual coercion in order to make them stray their course. One way to do this besides using hop up displays is to do proper social media marketing such as making your booth a check in location for Foursquare, create a Twitter hashtag for the company, and establish a Facebook event. By utilizing technology and coupling it with eye candy such as attractive mini table displays, you will have the opportunity to draw people in from before the event as well as during it.
While 79 percent of the promotional items and collateral used in trade shows just gets thrown away, it can still be an attractive idea to have such items at your booth because they can serve as passive marketing materials. Of course, you will still need away to attract people in from far away such as retractable banner stands that display a colorful and visually appealing message. This, coupled with fabric displays can bring people in from yards away.
If you have items that you want to put on display, you can use truss displays to also make for a piece of attractive eye candy while helping you to keep your items safe. Of course, once people get to your booth, there will be lots to keep them distracted. This, coupled with some giveaways, can make more customers than you might think.
Even if your event seems like a wash to begin with, you may get customers later. If your booth was attractive enough, people will remember you. Hopefully, this will translate into them becoming customers.
